A Simple Guide to Blackpool Accommodation

Visiting Blackpool is something everybody born in the UK has or will do at least once in their life. Your simply not English if you have not been to Blackpool, bought a stick or rock and eaten chips walking down the sea front. However if your young and your family have never taken you well don’t worry because your bound to end up in a holidays in Blackpool on either a stag night or hen night.

Holidays in blackpool are those short breaks you take which will never be forgotten. However we would like to make sure that visiting Blackpool is a pleasant visit and not ruined by you Blackpool accommodation or area your staying in.

For Families & Older Couples
Families with kids no matter what age should ALWAYS stay in south shore. This is the more quiet end on Blackpool and is quite quiet after 11 when the pubs and clubs shut. From here any loud mouths and boozers will flee off uptown (central and north Blackpool). As to where they can carry on boozing throughout the night into the early hours. If a Blackpool Short break is what your after or you have kids. Then south shore is the only option for you. Staying in central or North Blackpool will have you awake all night. However don’t think that because your in South Shore your going to miss anything. A tram or bus will get you into town at anytime day or night to see the other piers and the Tower. South shore has its own pier, the Pleasure Beach and the Sandcastle. Plenty of Arcades, Bingo and Places to eat.

Couples
As above, if your looking for q quiet or romantic time then you may want to stay in south shore, as it is situated along with the Pleasure Beach, South Pier and the Sandcastle. 3 Of the most popular attractions to Blackpool. You can always hit the nightlife In the town centre either central or north shore and grab a taxi back where you can pretty much guarantee a silent nights sleep. However if you and your partner are looking for nightclubs in particular then maybe a hotel up north Blackpool may suit.

Lads & Lasses
If your down for a stag night or hen night or maybe a load of you want to escape for the weekend then you should aim directly for Blackpool accommodation in or up town. This is because you may get a better deal and you will more than likely get accepted. In South Shore a lot of hotels and Guesthouses will not take you in if your all male or female. Believe it or not but a group or girls can be as bad as a group or lads. If a late night and kebab is what you want followed by some more hotel drinking. Your more than likely to get away with it up town.

When Booking Your Accommodation
When your on the phone to the Blackpool hotel or guesthouse make sure you ask the following questions.

Are there any meters in the room ?
Is their a Colour Television ?
Do you have to pay extra for the Television ?

You would not believe how many places in Blackpool still charge for these little extras and still have hidden costs. We believe that all the above should be included in the one price. So always go for a place that offers all the above as standard, Just like us !
