The owners of Blackpool Pleasure Beach are quite possibly
the most respected people in the Amusement Park industry
because they provide a safe sanctuary for old wooden coasters,
that would have been destroyed long ago under different
ownership. Some people wander why BPB has three wooden coasters
- the answer is that they are unique and the owner WILL
NOT sacrifice them for newer steel coasters. And for this,
the coaster clubs love BPB

Best rides. There are lots of rides for your enjoyment.
Look out for the new ride - Valhalla, its an enclosed flume
ride lasting for 6 minutes.Big One: - arguably their best
ride. There are lots of drop offs and twists and turns and
if you can manage it great views over Blackpool (if your
able to keep your eyes open).Playstation: - this is an excellent
ride, as you sit in your seat around the tower, then its
up, up, up you go, so fast, feeling as though when you get
to the top your just not going to stop, then its time for
the drop back down, it's a totally exhilarating ride. The
Grand National: - this wooden roller coaster may be an old
ride but its well worth going on.The ghost train and the
river caves are nice quieter rides for those of you who
don't want those big white knuckle rides.
